POST 4_TIME TRAVEL TO THE PAST OR THE FUTURE

Hi everyone, today the topic of this blog is time travel, for me, I prefer to travel to the past, the future is unknown, and I have a chance to see what is going to happen, maybe in ten or twenty years, but the past is done and the only moment when we can see it is in pictures, histories, memories, or the arts.

In the movie Mr. Peabody & Sherman, an animated movie by DreamWorks, Peabody teaches Sherman history and show him the wonders of the past using a time machine to travel. Some phrases from the movie that explain why I prefer to travel to the past, intends of the future are “But there’s nothing like learning the lessons of history firsthand.” And “Not where, Sherman, when.”

I would like to travel to the past to see all the thing that in the present don’t have clear evidence of his existence or the only proof is a picture or a drawn, and visit different eras to see who the cities are back then, the buildings, people’s clothing, and landscapes, like Athenas, Grecia that now remain in ruin, but I really would like to see the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, one of the seven wonders of the Ancient World, they were described as an extraordinary work of engineering, with a series of gardens containing a huge variety of vegetation, there are no texts that mention the gardens or archaeological evidence of them, don’t have a locations and construction date definitively established, we know about them for legends or stories, at the same to Gardens of Babylon, I would like to see Tenochtitlan in Mexico.

I can’t say that I wouldn’t like to stay, because I think that I would fall in love of all the thing that I see there, the building, the people, the culture, but I can say that I would stay a long time to study them and see all that I can, and I will come back to my time.
